If it is planned to make a checkup of the body-state no more than twice a week, the most suitable days would be Monday and Friday. On Friday you determine the impact of the week-long training on the athlete’s organism and on Monday you compare the athlete’s body-state with that on Friday and thus evaluate the effectiveness of the rehabilitation. As a rule, the athlete’s body-state on Monday should be better than on Friday.

The ORTO Expert system allows to make an objective assessment of the overall body-state of an athlete and is a useful instrument when selecting a level of exertion. By using the diagnostics of the body-state it is possible to predict the influence of physical loads, to prevent fatigue and stress.

So, in case of a significant deterioration of the athlete’s body-state by Friday the intensity and length of the training sessions should be changed. If the athlete’s body is not properly rehabilitated by Monday, it is advisable to change the day’s regimen and the nature of the training sessions over the weekend.
