ORTO Expert - A Complete System for Quick Body-State Diagnostics |
ORTO Expert
The ORTO Expert System is designed for express diagnostics of the overall body state of a person. It works by analyzing of the interaction of the body's regulatory systems governing the work of the cardiovascular system. The complex can determine over a thousand different body states which can be classified into three main categories: satisfactory, strained and unsatisfactory.

The main features of the ORTO Expert System are ease of use, quick diagnostics (5-10 minutes), reliability of diagnostic results, easy applicability of results in sport, the medical and other professions which need to control and forecast the body state of a person.

Description of the ORTO Expert System
Main method of diagnostics: Rhythmocardiography (Equipment — HeartSense).
Diagnostics: ORTO 2.5 expert system, the supported ages of patients: 6-65.
Diagnostics time: 5-10 minutes.
Ease of use: check-ups are conducted without an operator, the patient may choose the standard or extended variant of the diagnostics interpretation.
Measured body parameters :
Limits of pulse indices for different types of loads.
The degree of regulatory systems' functional stress.
Response of a cardiovascular system to the tilt-test.
Autonomic regulation of the organism during the stress test.
Parameters measured: Heart rate, SDNN, RMSSD, +, Mode, ++з, +, SI, TF, VLF, LF, HF, LF/HF, autocorrelation index and parameters of transitional process during the tilt-test.
Monitoring: The ORTO complex makes it possible to analyze the changes in functional body state and in autonomic tone basing on the results of several investigations.
Analysis of impacts and loads: The ORTO complex supports keeping a diary with a description of the type and degree of impact; makes diagrams correlating the degree of impact and change in body or autonomic tone.
Load tests used: Tilt-test.
Correspondence to main methodology: an automatically calculated calm-down period for the patient.
Database: a three-level system of patients' files with an unlimited number of records.
Interface with other programs: batch processing and export of data into text format compatible with Microsoft Excel, Statistica, ORTO Science.
Enhancement options: plug-in support for additional expert systems developed by the user or third parties.
The ORTO Expert Complex meets the requirements of measuring standards, physiologic interpretation and clinical use of heart rate indices, accepted by the European Society of Cardiology and the North American Society of Pacing and Electro-physiology.
