For the first time on the internet and only with the CardioStep, you have the possibility of doing online training to reduce your stress level. Now you will be able to learn how to influence the work of your nervous system. You will already see how it works during your first training.

Trainings are based on the technology of biological feedback. This is one of the most effective modern methods of stress control without medications. Earlier, consultants’ advice was needed to do such training. We have developed an expert system, which selects a customized training program for you, considering your condition and which changes depending on your progress. Therefore, you no longer need a specialist to do the training. Work out when you want and where you want.

A training session is very much like a computer game. By influencing the work of your nervous system, you will be able to influence the course of the game on-line. Perhaps, it sounds like science fiction now, but having fulfilled the training program, you will be able to master this.

As a result, your stress level will be reduced, and your mental and emotional state will improve.

Anti-stress trainings are another function of the heart rate monitor. This function will help you overcome fatigue and stress, which often accompanies workouts, especially those directed at weight loss.

Online fitness testing
Control your workouts with state-of-the-art fitness tests
It is likely that your heart rate monitor already has some built-in tests. However, you have probably noticed that monitor models, from different producers contain different tests. Why limit your possibilities? We have made all the standard tests accessible for you and added some entirely new unique tests. Now it is practically unimportant what kind of HRM you have; most of the Cardiosport and Polar HRM will easily connect to the CardioStep.

Already now there are ten modern fitness tests available in the CardioStep. A large variety of tests allow you to select really useful tests for you to suit your fitness needs. There is hardly a fitness club which can boast such a range of tests.

  • Overtraining Test. The test is designed for early diagnostics of the overtraining state.
  • Stress Level Test. The test determines your stress level.
  • Test for Weight-lifters. A convenient and easy test to evaluate endurance and fitness of weight-lifters. The test includes a trial test with an overstraining effort.
  • Index Test. An easy test to evaluate your fitness and endurance. The test results are correlated with your Maximum Oxygen Uptake. The test is an analogue of Polar OwnIndex.
  • Heart Zones. The test determines your individual heart zones for your goal-oriented training.
  • Ruffier Test. A quick test to evaluate the fitness level for beginning athletes or amateurs.
  • Supercompensation Test. The test helps to select an individual interval between training sessions.
  • Fatigue Test. This test will help to evaluate the degree of fatigue.
  • Siconolfi Step Test. The modern step test for professional testing. The test results provide a very accurate picture of the Maximum Oxygen Uptake (VO2max).
  • Evaluation of the Heart Rate by the Doctor. This professional test is for evaluation of your heart rate. The test results will be analyzed by the cardiologist who will then give recommendations. Medical control will make your training sessions even safer.

All key fitness tests are based on the method of analyzing the heart rate variability. This method is accepted by the European Society of Cardiology and the North American Society of Electrophysiology. The method is widely used in sports medicine. close

How to switch new functions to the heart rate monitor…
To connect your HRM to the CardioStep service, you will need an adapter Cardio Port and subscription for the service. An adapter is needed to connect the heart rate transmitters with a computer.

To work with the CardioStep, any monitor with a wireless heart rate transmitter will do. Such transmitters form a part of all the Cardiosport and Polar HRM. CardioStep does not yet support Polar WearLink W.I.N.D transmitters.

Some fitness machines like Kettler, Zontex, Torneo and others contain wireless heart rate transmitter. These counters can also be used with the CardioStep.

If you don’t have a HRM, we recommend you buy a heart rate transmitter Polar T31 or a Cardiosport Contour Lite, in order to do fitness testing and exercise stress reduction. close
